Roxy Jacenko HANGS UP on Triple M host Lawrence Mooney

‘Let’s not play Roxy the victim here’: PR queen Jacenko HANGS UP on Triple M host Lawrence Moony after she’s carved up for ‘not making the grade’ on SAS Australia and then complaining about being trolled

Roxy Jacenko hung up on Triple M’s Moonman in the Morning breakfast show on Tuesday after being carved up for ‘not making the grade’ on SAS Australia.

The PR Queen, 40, was being interviewed by hosts Jess Eva and Lawrence Mooney about her experience on the show.

After explaining her decision to quit because she had fractured her pelvis and hip six weeks prior to filming, Lawrence questioned why she’d even agreed to participate in the challenge with an injury.

‘What they failed to show on the TV was that I fractured my hip and pelvis six weeks previous. But forgetting all of that, I’m actually disgusted and upset that people are so mean to each other,’ she said before complaining about being trolled online.

She continued: ‘I’m glad I left when I did because if others’ entertainment is Candice Warner bashing me on the back of the head, do me a favour, I don’t need to be a part of that for other peoples entertainment.’

Lawrence then claimed Roxy ‘knew exactly what she was getting into’ and said she’d even told her ‘orthopaedic surgeon she was going to jump out of a helicopter.’

‘You knew exactly what you were getting into, because you said to your orthopaedic surgeon you were going to jump out of a helicopter. So let’s not play Roxy the victim here,’ he said.

‘Let’s not spend too much time talking about how we need to be kind. You couldn’t make the grade last night and you dropped out and people just piled on. That’s part of the deal of reality TV.’

A frustrated Roxy explained: ‘I left because I had a fractured hip and pelvis and didn’t wish to put myself through any further potential injures.’

Lawrence continued to question Roxy on why she would consider appearing on the show if she had a fractured hip and pelvis.

‘I got up and I showed up and that’s the most important thing to me,’ she said before Lawrence added: ‘And you dropped out.’

‘You know what, let’s leave this here because you’re doing exactly what the people on the internet are doing. I’m gonna leave that here,’ she said before disconnecting the phone line.

During Monday night’s premiere of SAS Australia, Candice Warner, who was a PR client of Roxy’s at the time of filming, landed several strong punches to her friend’s face.

Roxy winced in pain as she tried to defend herself from the blows, but refused to hit back.

The boxing challenge ultimately proved too much for the socialite, who promptly quit the show after being pummelled by Candice.

Roxy explained on The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Tuesday she no longer considers Candice a friend.

You know what? Is [Candice] really my friend anymore? No,’ Roxy raged.

‘You know why I never hit back? She’s my mate and I’m not going to smack [her] in the face for other people’s entertainment,’ she added.

‘You wouldn’t continue punching when the person turns their back and continue punching them in the back of the head. In boxing, that’s totally not allowed. The reality is, I can’t punch my then-friend in the face for people’s entertainment.’

SAS Australia continues Tuesday at 7.30pm on Channel Seven
