Ryan Giggs has cut £500,000 off the price of his marital home that boasts a swimming pool and cinema room as he struggled to sell it at its £3.5million asking price.

The former Manchester United and Wales winger put the five-bedroom mansion up for in 2019, two years after splitting with ex-wife Stacey Cooke.

He had lived in the sprawling mansion with Stacey and his two children, before their divorce in 2017.

Two years since it hit the market, the Salford mansion has not interested buyers, and the asking price has been cut to £3million.

It’s built within its private, gated plot and is surrounded by woodland and Worsley Golf Club.

Giggs married Stacey in 2007, but they split in 2017 after a marriage blighted by infidelity.

The Wales manager had an eight-year affair with his brother Rhodri’s wife, Natasha Lever. 

Following the 2017 divorce Giggs moved to a £1.7million property in nearby Worsley.   

Last November, he was arrested for allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend Kate Greville, 36, which he denies.

According to The Sun, his ex-wife Stacey, 41, may be looking for a new home in the area to move in with pop star boyfriend Max George, 32.
