Sally Morgan says she still felt sexy as a larger woman as she prepares to go under the knife again

‘This skin doesn’t look or feel good’: Sally Morgan, 69, reveals she’s having a face lift and liposuction after losing 16.5 STONE on her weight loss journey

Sally Morgan has revealed she’s undergoing a face lift and excess skin removal after losing 16.5 stone on her weight loss journey.

The 69-year-old television psychic began her transformation more than a decade ago after tipping the scales at 27 stone in 2009 when she underwent a gastric bypass.

In a new interview with Closer Magazine, Sally revealed that she is going under the knife to remove her loose skin, confessing she began to notice it more as a result of not wearing makeup in lockdown.

In an attempt to hide the loose skin, she said she tried wearing scarves and jumpers to cover herself up, but still felt self conscious.

She explained: ‘My neck is just skin. It doesn’t look good and it doesn’t feel good.’

On top of the face lift, the former Celebrity big Brother contestant is also having liposuction performed around her hips.

In 2009, Sally weighed in at 27 stone, with doctors warning her that she’d die if she didn’t go under the knife.

She opted for a gastric bypass and the weight loss surgery proved a success, as she dropped from a size 32 to a size 12/14.

She has vowed that her next round of surgery will be her last so that she doesn’t become obsessed with the idea of surgically improving herself.

Sally – who has three children with her husband John – said she never stopped feeling attractive as a larger woman and lost weight purely for health reasons.

She told the magazine: ‘When I was a bigger woman, I still felt sexy, my husband never rejected me and he always loved me. We had our very passionate moments, wink wink!’

Despite this, she said that her upcoming final round of weight loss procedures will be the ‘icing on the cake’.

Speaking previously to MailOnline about her weight loss surgery, Sally said: ‘I had a little heart attack. And if I hadn’t have lost weight… my cardiologist said you must have surgery otherwise you’ll die’, Sally explained.

The star later underwent gastric bypass surgery, resulting in her eventually dropping a whopping 16.5 stone.

‘I was very happy at 27 stone because I love food!’ she said. ‘I married someone who always loved me no matter what size and I never had a problem with the physical side of my marriage, it never hindered that. The only thing it impeded was my life.

‘People loved me when I was big. So much so that people would come to the show and go “oh you’re not the same” And I am exactly the same.

‘I always say to them, “but I’m alive. I’ve got grandchildren and I want to see them grow up, go to university and hopefully have babies”. Which I wouldn’t have done had I remained 27 stone. That cardiologist saved my life.’
