Sally Obermeder switched out her sleek, styled locks for her natural curls just days after her talk show, The Daily Edition, was axed.

The presenter – who fronted the Channel Seven show for seven years – looked incredible as she embraced her natural locks in a stunning new picture uploaded to her Instagram on Tuesday.

‘Embracing my curls. And boy is there a lot of them!’ the 46-year-old enthused in the caption of the stylish snap.

Cutting a casually chic figure, Sally looked sensational in a black blazer, ankle-grazing jeans and black heels.

‘Back to business at @swiishbysallyo,’ the brunette added to her snap, which implied she was powering on with work at her online lifestyle store, SWIISH.

The snap comes after Sally put on a brave face while going in to The Daily Edition office on a Saturday to do stocktake for the show.

Sally revealed was ‘touched’ to discover the production team had left a sweet balloon sign and a few small gifts waiting for her in the morning.

‘Look how cute is the team, look at this. I came in this morning even though its Saturday because its stocktake day,’ she said on Instagram Stories.

‘We had long planned to have part one stocktake, and part two on June 30 on Tuesday. I came in and there was this big sign. Big hoo-ha, beautiful gifts, so touched, very nice.’

On June 19, Channel Seven announced The Daily Edition had been axed after seven years on air.

The following week, Sally broke down in tears as she thanked viewers for their support while presenting the final episode of the show.

There was no mention of her co-host Ryan Phelan, who was axed last Monday following domestic violence allegations.

She said tearfully: ‘I cannot talk about the team without crying. You guys have been the heart and the soul of this show. And to you our viewers, thank you again from all of us at The Daily Edition’.
