But away from the spotlight, Sam Frost runs her own mental health initiative called Believe with her sister Kristine.

On Tuesday, the 30-year-old appeared on The Morning Show to share some tips on how people can manage their own mental health during the coronavirus lockdown.

‘It’s really important, especially for people who struggle with anxiety, the unknown and the instability can be really triggering,’ she said.

‘So I think it’s really important to stay connected to friends and family, FaceTime has been brilliant,’ she continued.

‘You’ve got all these house party video chats, also, getting outside and exercising, we’re still allowed to do that. Taking time to go for a walk,’ she added.

The former Bachelor star also said that a healthy diet was key to managing mental health.

‘I’ve been really trying to be conscious of eating well, I think that’s really helped my mind as well.’

Sam also explained how she avoids falling victim to fake news amid the media storm around coronavirus.

‘Do you own research, fact check,’ she said, while urging people to beware of what they see on social media.

‘I’ve been watching ScoMo’s announcements so I can see first hand what he’s actually saying,’ she added.

Earlier this month, Sam admitted that the coronavirus pandemic had triggered her anxiety and reduced her to hysterics.

The actress revealed in a blog post for her mental health site Believe, that she had been ‘crying hysterically’ on the phone with her mother because she felt so isolated.

In a bid to encourage fans to put their mental health first during this trying time, she bravely admitted: ‘Quite honestly, I am feeling more alone than ever.’

Describing the pandemic as a ‘challenging time’ for the world, Sam went on to say that the unknown can be ‘triggering’ for people who struggle with their mental health.

‘My thoughts are with you all, especially those who struggle with mental health issues. The instability and the unknown can be very triggering for us.’

Speaking about finding things difficult, Sam added: ‘I just got off the phone to my mum, I called her crying hysterically after a very long night of tears and crippling anxiety keeping me awake.’
