‘I had my heart broken just days before this picture’: Sarah Hyland shares her lowest point as Modern Family star takes part in Instagram photo challenge
Sarah Hyland has revealed she was at her lowest ebb while attending a fashion show in 2017, and credits close friend Vanessa Hudgens for helping her through it.
The Modern Family star made the revelation while taking part in the latest viral challenge to sweep Instagram, which sees participants sharing pictures as requested by their followers.
Asked to pick a moment where she felt her worst but had to fake being OK, Sarah, 30, picked her front row appearance at the MOSCHINO Spring-Summer 2018 Menswear and Women’s Resort presentation in Los Angeles.

Sharing an image from the event, the actress looked typically glamorous in a floral printed black dress while posing for photos alongside High School Musical star Vanessa.
But she admitted her appearance came at a turbulent time, having recently separated from long-term boyfriend and former Geek Charming co-star Matt Prokop.
She was also receiving medical treatment after undergoing 16 different surgeries, among them a second kidney transplant, surgery to resolve an abdominal hernia and a laparoscopic surgery for endometriosis.
