Convicted drug smuggler Schapelle Corby ‘will appear on Dancing with the Stars as a wildcard contestant’ after her stint on SAS Australia
Schapelle Corby made her reality TV debut on Seven’s SAS Australia last year.
And rumour has it the convicted drug smuggler, 43, is staying with the network and will appear on the upcoming reboot of Dancing with the Stars.
The 43-year-old will apparently be one of a handful of ‘wildcard’ contestants among the returning franchise stars, reports TV Tonight .

So far the only confirmed stars are Home and Away actress Ada Nicodemou, former Daily Edition host Tom Williams and Fox FM radio presenter Fifi Box.
Daily Mail Australia has contacted Channel Seven and Schapelle Corby for comment.
Other rumoured cast members include Luke Jacobz, Lincoln Lewis, Bec Hewitt and Erin McNaught.

Renee Bargh is also tipped to join the reboot as a ‘wildcard’. She was previously the backstage correspondent for the American version of Dancing with the Stars.
Meanwhile, Daryl Somers, who hosted the first seven seasons of the Seven program, is said to be returning for the new series.
Seven will begin filming DWTS at Sydney’s ICC theatre in March, and the program will air later in the year.

Schapelle made a brief appearance on the first season of SAS Australia last year.
She voluntarily withdrew from the military-style show in episode two when the selection course proved too demanding for her.
In October 2004, Schapelle became a household name when she was arrested at Bali airport with 4.2kg of cannabis wrapped in plastic inside her boogie board bag.

The world watched in May 2005 as she broke down in the Denpasar courtroom after being sentenced to 20 years’ imprisonment.
Following to a series of sentence reductions, Schapelle was released on parole in February 2014, having served nine years behind bars.
She lived in Bali with family until she was deported back to Australia in May 2017.
The former beautician has always denied knowingly importing drugs and maintains the marijuana was planted in her luggage by corrupt baggage handlers.
