A schoolboy has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a ‘gang attack’ at the scene of a car crash in a leafy Oxfordshire market town – filmed on mobile phone by ghoulish bystanders.
The driver, 19, was pronounced dead after being found in the road in Thame just after 7.05pm last night.
His car, a grey hatchback, was seen in images flipped onto its top in the middle of the stretch as police arrested a 15-year-old boy nearby.

There were suggestions online the crash was connected to a fight involving a gang of youths – but police have not commented.
Onlookers filmed the attack on mobile phones and were urged to hand over the footage to Thames Valley Police officers
Senior investigating officer Detective Inspector Mike Roddy appealed for witnesses to come forward who may have seen anything suspicious.
He said: “We know there were a number of people in the area who will have seen this unfold and may have even caught some of the incident on video.

“Please do not share this video on social media, but instead share it with police. A man has died in this incident and if you have footage or pictures this could be very traumatic for the family and friends of the man who has died.
“We know this will be concerning for the community but there will be an increased police presence in the area. Feel free to approach these officers if you have any concerns.”
Thame, which is named after the river, is a quiet town and was previously known for being the home of late Bee Gees legend Robin Gibb.

The area’s fire crews were also called to the crash amid fears someone may have needed to be cut out of a vehicle.
A spokesman for Thame Fire Station said: ‘We’ve just attended a serious Road Traffic Collision in Thame this evening.
‘Please avoid the area and respect the cordons that have been put in place.’
