Selling Sunset’s Mary Fitzgerald insists she DID congratulate Christine Quinn on her pregnancy

She was recently called out by Christine Quinn for not congratulating her on her pregnancy following her announcement post on Instagram.

But Mary Fitzgerald insisted that she did in fact offer her regards to the mum-to-be, telling in a new interview that she in fact sent a ‘private message’.

Despite the drama, Selling Sunset star Mary, 40, wished her on-off pal the best as she predicted having a baby will make Christine, 31, a ‘better person’.

During a chat with heatworld, Mary, who was also joined by co-star Jason Oppenheim, discussed Christine’s baby news and also addressed reports that she didn’t ‘like’ Christine’s social media post about her pregnancy.

Mary told the publication that she did reach out to her co-star and instead opted to send a ‘private voice-message’, she said: ‘I did reach out to her.

‘I sent her a voice memo, like a voice text, saying how happy I am for her for her pregnancy, I saw it through the media.

But I heard it was true, I said I’m so happy for her, congratulations, let me know if there was anything I could do for her and she just said thank you.’

Addressing Christine’s claims, she added: ‘So in my opinion we’re OK, apparently she’s posted some stuff about me, Heather and Chrishell not saying anything about her pregnancy, which isn’t true.

‘I don’t know how she feels but I’m personally OK with her.’

Meanwhile, the realtor told how becoming a parent will no doubt change Christine and make her more ‘grounded’.

She said: ‘Christian has enough money that she will have plenty of help. I think she will handle it well, hopefully it will ground her, and I think it will make her, like it does most people, a better person where you focus on another being.’

She went on: ‘I’m sure Christine will always be extra but I personally think even though publicly she’s still super over the top, I think personally it will ground her a little more.’

Jason, 43, meanwhile stated that he was ‘interested’ to see how Christine ‘balances’ being a mum, adding he ‘can’t wait’ to meet the new addition.

He added that Christine has ‘a lot of love’ to give, but warned that no one can be ‘prepared’ for parenthood and that it could be ‘overwhelming’.

In keeping with the baby talk, Mary also opened up about the possibility of starting her own family with husband Romain, 26.

The beauty told how she ‘doesn’t know’ what their plan is at the moment, but noted that it would at least be ‘another couple of years’ before they started trying as they want to enjoy time together as newlyweds.

She added: ‘I think we are just focussing on that right now and just enjoying our life together and then we will freeze the embryos so that option is there if we ever want it, but that would be up to him. I would only be doing it because I don’t want him to miss out on that experience, but I don’t feel like I personally need another child to make myself content.’

It comes after Christine called out her Selling Sunset co-stars on after discovering they have yet to ‘like’ her recent pregnancy announcement on Instagram.

Taking to social media earlier this month, the blonde beauty uploaded a video showing herself searching for Chrishell Stause, Heather Rae Young and Mary in the ‘like’ section of her post.

Christine, who is married to tech entrepreneur Christian Richard, set the seemingly snarky snippet to Chris Brown’s track Loyal, as she failed to pull up even one of her cast members’ names.

The post in question was shared by the reality star this month where she officially revealed her pregnancy to her 1.5million followers.

‘My heart is already bursting with love and gratitude for this little life inside me,’ Quinn captioned the gallery, which contained images of her showing off her baby bump in a white gown.

‘I’m humbled, awestruck, and inspired. It’s already a feeling like no other that I’ve ever experienced, and all I can think about is how we can be the best parents possible,’ she added.

‘I know becoming a mother will change me for the better, and I can’t wait to experience this next chapter together as a family.’

Admitting she was left stunned by their lack of support, the model said: ‘That’s one of those comments that really hurt my feelings I was really shocked to hear that in the press.

‘You know it is what it is. I hate when people shelter themselves behind the press, say those things to my face.’

Despite having a rocky relationship with her cast members, the blonde will be forced to spend more time with the fellow property experts as Netflix recently announced their programme has been renewed for two more seasons.

The media personality expressed her excitement over the upcoming series as she added: ‘Selling Sunset has been renewed for not one but two seasons, we’re going to be filming very soon and I’m so excited about that.’
