On the mend: Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador, 57, said Monday that she’s ‘fixing’ her face after receiving fillers prior to the show’s 15th reunion special that she had an adverse reaction to

‘New year, new me!’ she captioned the shot. ‘After last nights reunion episode, there are questions asking “what happened to your face???” I am here to be honest and open about what happened.’

In the clip, she explained how she was having a difficult month after undergoing a natural filler treatment meant to complement her skin ‘without thinking it through,’ leading to the adverse reaction.

‘Last night, part one of the RHOC reunion aired, and there are a lot of people asking, what did Shannon do to her face?’ she said. ‘I wanted to look good for the reunion, so I went elsewhere to try a couple of natural and non-invasive treatments that have been very effective in tightening people’s skin, but it didn’t work at all on my skin.’

She continued, ‘I’m having a really difficult time looking myself in the mirror, I don’t recognize myself.’
