The nostalgic gut-punch, off Swift’s album Evermore, tells the story of a woman or man briefly rekindling an intimate relationship with a past lover in their hometown.

Mendes, who is home for the holidays, however, has no interest in meeting up with any old flames as he’s in town with his girlfriend Camila Cabello and their new pup, Tarzan.

Mendes, who opened for Swift’s 1989 World Tour in 2015, previously collaborated with the 31-year-old superstar on a dreamy remix of her song Lover last November.
