Sheridan Smith warns her enemies to lawyer up as she fumes in a cryptic online outburst

‘Never again will I trust snakes’: Sheridan Smith lashes out at enemies and promises her lawyers are ‘at the ready’ in cryptic outburst

Sheridan Smith issued a warning to her enemies on Friday night and told ‘the snakes’ who betrayed her that her lawyers are ready to take them down.

Taking to Instagram to deliver the message, the fuming actress, 39, wrote: ‘Never again will I trust snakes! Shady snakes lie low and act big! Wait till I tell you.’

Threatening legal action, she added: ‘Lawyers at the ready mfs [motherf**kers].’

During the social media outburst, the Cilla actress also shared a post that read: ‘We never lose friends. We just learn who the real ones are.’

The cryptic warning comes as Sheridan is in the midst of writing a tell-all biography called Honestly.

In the upcoming book, which will be released in October 2021, Sheridan has promised to open up about how her success gave her imposter syndrome.

She has also said she will detail her struggles with her mental health and subsequent panic attacks.

Taking to Twitter on Saturday, she told her fans: ‘Can’t wait for you guys to read the book, a lot of truths will come out! I hope you finally understand.’

According to publisher Penguin, the Legally Blonde star writes of ‘dark times and heartbreak’ as well as her silver screen and West End success.

Last year, Sheridan admitted she was scared her mental health problems would resurface when she gave cameras access to her life for a documentary called Becoming Mum.

She said: ‘No one knows what’s going on behind it all,” she told the cameras. The biggest worry is you’ve had mental health issues in the past – will it rear its ugly head again?’

Pregnant at the time, the star said: ‘I’ve still got these underlying issues so I went back on the medication and that was the right thing to do, but I constantly worried it is going to affect the baby – feeling really selfish.’

Happily,  Sheridan celebrated her son Billy’s first birthday with an elaborate jungle-themed celebration at home with close family earlier this month.

Taking to Instagram to share the special day with her followers, the actress wrote: ‘My precious Billy’s 1st Birthday…Becoming a mother has been the most rewarding job in the world.’

Having been known for erratic behaviour, anxiety and self-doubt, the Two Pints of Lager actress admitted in December: ‘I don’t think I’ve ever felt like this before.

‘Regardless of anything going on in my career I’ve always felt insecure, worried about what people thought of me. And now I feel happy. That is a novelty.

‘I never knew I would be this person – a mum. Things used to seem so complicated, and now suddenly everything is so simple. I love Billy so much. I hold him and he’s looking at me and I know he loves me back and he needs me.

‘I’ve been looking for this all my life. I’ve looked in the wrong places – in nightclubs, going out drinking, pushing myself with work. Now in this little baby I’ve found that I’m at peace with everything.’
