Stacey Solomon admits she’s ‘anxious’ homeschooling sons Zachary, 12 and Leighton, 7

Stacey Solomon candidly admitted that she is ‘anxious’ on Wednesday as she struggled to keep up with her children’s schoolwork. 

The Loose Women star, 30, is currently homeschooling sons Zachary, 12 and Leighton, seven, due to the UK coronavirus lockdown.

And Stacey admitted that she was struggling to keep up with the children’s ‘thick and fast’ school work on Wednesday.

Sharing a snap of Zachary and Leighton eating breakfast in the kitchen, the mother-of-three candidly revealed: ‘School work is coming in thick and fast and we are NOT keeping up. 

‘It does make me feel anxious but I keep reminding myself we can only do what we can and try our best. Hope you’re all ok,’ followed by a grey heart emoji.

Although things appeared to be going smoother later in the morning as Stacey shared a fun video of her children partaking in a P.E lesson thanks to Body Coach Joe Wicks’ videos to help parents at home. 

Also joining in on the physical education was her partner Joe Swash and their baby son Rex, 10-months, who lay on his chest.

Stacey has been keeping her 3.1million fans update on Instagram with her homeschooling and cleaning tips as she self-isolates with her family amid the UK coronavirus lockdown.     

Earlier this week, she hilarious revealed that baby son Rex managed to change the computer settings to Japanese.

Stacey homeschooled Zachary for two years alongside his brother Leighton, before her eldest started secondary school in September 2019.

The singer revealed in 2018 that she was homeschooling her children after she noticed changes in Zachary’s behaviour. 

It comes after the TV star shared adorable snaps of herself alongside her baby son Rex as she celebrated Mother’s Day with her nearest and dearest on Sunday.  

Stacey shared a look at some of the gifts she was given on the day which included a Polly Pocket bag and jokingly wrote: ‘Can’t wait to take it out in a few year’s time.’

Stacey also shared an adorable clip of herself snuggled in bed alongside Rex as he woke up and wrote: ‘Good morning, happy mumma’s day.’ 

The former X Factor star then shared a quick video of herself wearing her new Polly Pocket bag along with a baby pink jumper and matching trousers.

Wearing the bag on her side, she jokingly said: ‘Ready for another exciting day around the house, but hook or by crook I’m using this bag around the house.’

Stacey later shared a heartwarming snap of Rex having a nap alongside her pet pooch Theo.

Along with Rex, Stacey is also mother to Zachary, 12, and Leighton, seven, from previous relationships.

It comes after Stacey was left red-faced when she was caught wearing her pyjamas during a live episode of Loose Women on Thursday, the ITV show has since been cancelled until further notice to coincide with the UK coronavirus lockdown. 

The presenter admitted she didn’t bother changing as she assumed she’d be sat behind a desk, but was caught out when she jumped up to film a hilarious dance segment. 

At the start of the show, Stacey looked perfectly primped and preened for her daytime TV appearance in a stylish pale blue dress.

But after an ad break, fans had plenty of laugh about as they paid homage to the iconic video for Queen’s I Want To Break Free.

Stacey and Nadia Sawalha danced around the studio with electric hoovers in hand, while Christine Lampard and Carol McGiffin feigned cleaning the desk.

After taking her seat again, Stacey came clean about her bizarre wardrobe choice, saying: ‘The worst of it is that I kept my pyjama bottoms on because I didn’t think we’d be getting up from the desk.’

Laughing Nadia then added: ‘That’s what Stacey was most excited about for today. She told me ”We’re not walking in so I can wear my pyjamas”.’

Stacey then proudly showed off her baggy beige trousers by stretching her leg up and onto the desk.

The star had admitted just a day earlier that she may not shave her legs again until she has to return to the work, as most of the UK remains in self-isolation due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Settling down to watch the film Clueless with her baby son Rex sleeping soundly, Stacey made the surprise revelation as the video showed a glimpse of her hairy legs.

She captioned her post: ‘I know what you’re thinking… ”if she has to self-isolate maybe she will finally take some time to shave those abominable snowman legs.” I might, maybe, probably not.’
