Stacey Solomon hits back at troll who claimed ‘nobody cares’ about her posts

Stacey Solomon hit back at a troll who claimed ‘nobody cares’ about her posts after she told fans she was struggling to bake cakes for a homeless shelter on Friday.

The Loose Women panellist, 31, shared the cruel message that had been sent to her by the person, wishing them a ‘happy Friday’ despite their remark.

The troll responded to a video that Stacey had shared, in which she told fans she was panicking as she had left ‘everything to the last minute’ and had to finish baking 500 cupcakes for the shelter’s Christmas party the next day.

Stacey explained: ‘Oh my gosh sorry I’ve been so bad on here today, I got back from Loose played with the boys and now I’m trying to make holly out of icing and it’s not working.

‘It’s our homeless shelter’s Christmas party and I’ve left everything to the last minute so I’m panicking.

‘I’m going to put my phone in the draw for the night and for tomorrow because we’ll be at the shelter and I just wanted to say I hope you have a lovely weekend, I love you loads and I’ll see you on Sunday.’

The troll sent a message to Stacey in response to her update, simply writing ‘nobody cares’ to which the star hit back: ‘But before I go its nice to end the evening on a high. Cheers Wilma, happy Friday bubs.’

She then shared a photo of the many boxes filled with the cupcakes as she happily declared she was ‘all packed and ready for the morning.’

On Wednesday, Stacey hit back at some of her followers as they accused her of concealing the reality of raising a toddler, as she posted a smiley snap of her son, Rex.

The mother-of-three, 30, defended her uploads and said she is ‘extremely grateful’ that her 19-month-old ‘rarely cries,’ as she believes she shouldn’t shamed for celebrating that.

She uploaded an adorable photo of Rex in a grey top while playing with bath bombs.

In an accompanying message, she shared a screenshot of a comment from a follower that read: ‘You always upload videos of your son Rex smiling and laughing! Why do you never show the reality of what it’s really like having a toddler?’

Stacey responded in a lengthy post: ‘I get messages like this quite often but I’ve seen a few today for some reason…’

‘He’s just a smiley boy. It’s just who he is. We’ve done nothing special. We haven’t sent him to smiley classes or anything.

‘The thing is, he rarely cries, and when he does, the last thing I’m going to do is get my phone out and take a picture or video.’

While Stacey admitted that Rex sometimes has his moments, she said that she and her partner, Joe Swash, are extremely thankful for their joyful son.

She continued: ‘But genuinely, when I look at him or talk to him or do anything, if I’m honest, he just cracks up laughing. And we love him for it and we are extremely grateful.

‘He has an enthusiasm for life that we can’t get enough of and we can’t take the credit, he was born like it. ‘
