Sunrise host David ‘Kochie’ Koch is trending on Twitter thanks to a bizarre prank courtesy of comedy group The Chaser.
The satirists decided to make #Kochie’sNipples a viral topic on Wednesday for no other reason besides the fact it was a slow news day.
‘News cycle is boring so tonight’s mission is to see if we can get #KochiesNipples trending just to confuse the hell out of the guy,’ the comedians tweeted.

The Chaser’s fans were quick to jump on the bandwagon, including one who tweeted: ‘Slow news day, #KochiesNipples must trend now.’
‘Come on Australia. #KochiesNipples are way more entertaining and informative than the Bachelorette,’ another wrote, while a third added: ‘We can do this.’
‘I haven’t watched Sunrise in years, #KochiesNipples may have something to do with that. Is the Cash Cow still kicking?’ a fourth tweeted.

‘I’ve heard that #KochiesNipples are bigger than the Cash Cow’s,’ another joked.
‘If #KochiesNipples did this I might be interested,’ someone else joked, as they shared a photo of the deadly Fembots from Austin Powers.

The humourous Twitter prank was not lost on Kochie, who responded to The Chaser’s prank with a laughing face emoji.
Funnily enough, this is not the first time Kochie’s nipples have gone viral on social media.
In 2013, a photo on the Sunrise Facebook account showing co-host Sam Armytage looking inside Kochie’s shirt was widely shared.

‘I just threw up dinner’: This is not the first time Kochie’s nipples have become viral on social media. In 2013, a photo shared on the Sunrise Facebook page showed co-host Samantha Armytage looking inside Kochie’s shirt with the caption: ‘Does Kochie have a third nipple?
