Tahlia Giumelli returns to modelling ‘after almost two years off’

Tahlia Giumelli has returned to modelling after a hiatus of ‘almost two years’.

The fiancée of South Sydney NRL star Tom Burgess shared images from the Bras N Things photoshoot to her Instagram on Monday.

The 28-year-old was joined by then 12-week-old daughter Elodie for the brand’s Mother’s Day campaign. 

In the caption, Giumelli said ‘This campaign was shot 12 weeks after Elodie was born and was some of the hardest 12 weeks we endured as a family, with illness and hospital stays, to being diagnosed with post natal depression.’ 

‘This was captured just as the fog had lifted, days after we bought our forever home, the help I needed finally kicking in,’ she added. 

The model previously said she was first diagnosed with the condition seven weeks after daughter Elodie was born in mid-November last year.  

She called the shoot, ‘My first step back into the work world after almost 2 years off’. 

The model is known for being an open book when it comes to sharing details of her life on social media.

But Tahlia revealed the one area she won’t be exposing to public scrutiny, in an interview with the Daily Telegraph on Monday.

When it comes to her wedding to athlete Burgess, ‘We’re keeping the date and location to ourselves,’ she said.

‘This day is really for our girls,’ said the mother-of-two of the couple’s impending nuptials.  

She confirmed that daughters Sophie, two, and Elodie, five months, ‘will be flower girls’ at the ceremony, whenever it takes place. 

Tahlia and Tom announced their engagement on New Year’s Eve, after three years of dating.
