Terri Irwin ditches khaki look to stock up on last-minute supplies for Christmas

Terri Irwin is rarely seen outside of her khaki uniform for Australia Zoo.

But on Friday, Terri stepped out to do groceries in a pair of white jeans and a beige T-shirt with a picture of a leopard printed on it.

The 56-year-old was spotted on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast doing a last-minute supermarket shop to stock up for Christmas.

The widow of Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin made sure she put her health and safety first during her outing by wearing a face mask.

Terri tied her long brunette locks up into a ponytail and appeared to wear some eye makeup and minimal foundation. 

She was seen leaving the door with a large trolley full of items for her family.   

While most of her shopping was concealed within plastic bags, it was clear Terri had stocked up on toilet paper and dish-washing tablets for the festive season.

Also sticking out of her trolley were multiple rolls of Christmas wrapping paper. 

One item she packed into the car was a roasted chicken – likely the Irwin’s dinner for the evening.

Afterwards, Terri returned the trolley back to the bay before taking the short drive back home to Australia Zoo.  

Terri will likely be spending Christmas at the Beerwah family property with son Robert, 17, pregnant daughter Bindi, 22, and Bindi’s husband Chandler Powell.   

Bindi tied the knot with her long-term boyfriend Chandler in March.

The Wildlife Warrior announced her pregnancy in August, sharing an image of herself and Chandler holding a tiny khaki Australia Zoo uniform.  

Bindi, who is now about 26 weeks pregnant, first met Chandler in November 2013, when Bindi gave him a tour of Australia Zoo.
