Terri Irwin pays tribute to her pregnant daughter Bindi, 22, and says she ‘will be an amazing mother’
Terri Irwin is expecting her first grandchild in 2021.
And the Australia Zoo matriarch, 56, spoke proudly of her pregnant daughter Bindi, 22, in a tweet shared on Sunday.
She posted a photo of herself with her arm around her beaming daughter to mark National Daughter Day.

‘I know @BindiIrwin will be an amazing mother, because she is the most wonderful daughter in the world,’ Terri wrote.
‘She always gives me the best advice. Most recently, she said to me, “Be sure to revel in your achievements, and not just worry about your next challenge.”‘
Last week, Bindi and her husband, Chandler Powell, confirmed they were expecting a daughter in a sweet gender reveal.

The mother-to-be shared a photo to Instagram of herself and Chandler cuddled up to an Aldabra tortoise at Australia Zoo.
Bindi wrote in the caption: ‘Baby girl, you are our world.
‘Our beautiful daughter is now about the same size as a hatchling Aldabra tortoise and is as healthy as can be.

‘We can’t wait for her arrival next year,’ the wildlife warrior added.
Chandler also shared the same sweet photo, and wrote in the caption: ‘Our little girl and my beautiful wife are my entire world.
‘I’m so excited to meet our daughter when she’s born next year and to see the incredible person she will grow up to be ❤️.’
