The Bachelorette host Osher Günsberg zips around Sydney on his electric scooter after the dating show’s finale bombed in the ratings

He’s known for his environmental activism.

And television presenter Osher Günsberg led by example last Wednesday as he rode his electric scooter around Sydney.

The 46-year-old zipped around the city on the eco-friendly bike while wearing a retro-inspired red jacket and striped helmet.

Practise what you preach: He’s known for his environmental activism, and TV presenter Osher Günsberg led by example last Wednesday as he rode his electric scooter around Sydney

He completed his look with a pair of aviator sunglasses, black pants and sneakers.

The sighting came a week after The Bachelorette, the Channel 10 dating show Osher has hosted since 2015, delivered its lowest finale ratings ever.

The last episode of the sixth season attracted just 500,000 metro viewers on November 5, briefly peaking at 573,000 for Elly and Becky Miles’ final decision.

The numbers fell way below the 879,000 metro viewers who watched Locky Gilbert’s finale of The Bachelor on September 24.

The Bachelorette’s finale saw Becky pick café owner Pete Mann as her winning suitor, while Elly chose concreter Frazer Neate.

Unfortunately, Becky split from Pete just three days after filming wrapped in Sydney on September 7, while Elly seems to be loosely dating Frazer for now.

The season was branded ‘boring’ by viewers and drew in disappointing ratings since the premiere.

Osher was absent for much of filming because he was stuck in lockdown in Melbourne after a coronavirus outbreak on set of The Masked Singer.

However, producers were able to create the illusion he was on set by filming his segments later and splicing them into the final cut.
