Former Bachelor Nick ‘The Honey Badger’ Cummins has liked two Instagram posts shared by disgraced celebrity chef Pete Evans in support of President Donald Trump.
His social media activity comes as the world reacts in horror to scenes of the violent insurrection in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday, which resulted in four deaths.
Conspiracy theorist Evans, 48, shared a string of posts about the president on Thursday, after Trump supporters violently clashed with police in a futile attempt to stop Joe Biden’s victory being certified on Capitol Hill.
One such post was a screenshot of a podcast titled ‘Patriots knew the playbook, taking back the country was never going to be easy, buckle up’, alongside a photo of Trump giving a thumbs-up.

Evans captioned this post: ‘Eyes, ears and heart open. You may like to listen.’
While it’s not suggested Cummins supports the protests in any way, he did publicly show his support for Pete’s post by clicking the ‘like’ button.
A day earlier, Evans had shared another image of Trump alongside the text: ‘They hate him so much, because he is the first president they can’t control.’ Once again, Cummins liked this post.
Evans himself captioned the image: ‘I believe that tomorrow will be a huge day… with the world watching!’

He was dropped by a string of companies and pulled from the line-up of Channel 10’s I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in November for posting a neo-Nazi meme on Facebook.

The post was a cartoon of a caterpillar wearing a MAGA cap and a butterfly with the neo-Nazi Black Sun emblem on its wing, with the suggestion being that neo-Nazism is the natural evolution for Trump supporters.
Evans is an enthusiastic supporter of the president and advocates the baseless claim that Mr Biden only won the 2020 election due to voter fraud.
The Black Sun symbol became infamous after it was introduced by top-ranking Nazi Heinrich Himmler during World War II. The symbol has since been adopted by numerous neo-Nazi groups, and by Christchurch mosque shooter Brenton Tarrant.
Evans seemingly confirmed he was aware of the meaning of the symbol when a fan stated they recognised it, and Pete replied: ‘I was waiting for someone to see that.’
A month earlier, he’d encouraged another Facebook user to ‘have a look at the true history of Germany.’

A Facebook spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia that Evans’ page was removed due to repeated violations of its misinformation and harm policy.
‘We don’t allow anyone to share misinformation about COVID-19 that could lead to imminent physical harm or COVID-19 vaccines that have been debunked by health experts,’ the representative said.
‘We have clear policies against this type of content and we’ve removed Chef Pete Evans’ Facebook Page for repeated violations of these policies.’
