The Bachelor fans spot an awkward editing fail… and it proves there was more to Roxi and Kaitlyn’s cocktail party catfight than was shown on TV

Eagle-eyed fans spotted a major editing fail on Wednesday’s episode of The Bachelor.
And it seems producers made another glaring mistake during Thursday’s episode.
As Roxi Kenny, 29, and Kaitlyn Hoppe, 26, clashed at the cocktail party, viewers noticed a continuity error.

During the girls’ catfight, there were several cutaways – known as reaction shots – involving contestant Kristina Abramoff.
Kristina was sitting on a blue couch with Rosemary Sawtell at the start of the spat.
But just moments later, she was shown on a red couch with Juliette Herrera.
In a subsequent reaction shot, Kristina was seen sitting next to Rosemary on the blue couch again.

The editing fail seemingly proves that producers pick and choose reaction shots to suit a storyline, even if they are taken out of context.
During the spat, a jealous Roxi became furious after discovering that Kaitlyn had given leading man Locky Gilbert a kiss at the cocktail party.
At one stage, she said within earshot of Kaitlyn: ‘I’m sorry but I think that’s really rude to everyone else. You kissed someone at a cocktail party.’

‘That’s classless. She’s Gold Coast trash,’ she added. ‘This little silly b***h over here is saying she pecked on with someone. It’s disgusting. The b***h is a sl*t.’
As things became heated later on, Roxi labelled Kaitlyn ‘Malibu Barbie gone wrong’, before screaming over and over again that she was ‘trash’.
Meanwhile, Kaitlyn repeatedly held her hand up in front of Roxi’s face and told her to ‘go cry’, which only aggravated her further.

It comes after Wednesday’s episode featured another editing fail at the rose ceremony.
Fans noticed that Bella Varelis was holding a rose before her name was even called out.
As Bel Colwell walked up to Locky to receive her rose, Bella could be seen holding a flower behind her.

Locky eventually called out Bella’s name towards the end of the rose ceremony and they shared a warm embrace.
This editing fail reveals how producers sometimes edit the eliminations out of order in order to draw attention to certain contestants.
Showing Bella towards the end of the segment – even though Locky seems to have handed her a rose early on – places a greater emphasis on her.
This isn’t surprising given that she is rumoured to make it to the finale.
