The Block’s Daniel and Jade are seen looking tense during show’s finale

After months of blood, sweat and tears, The Block’s five couples took their houses to auction on Sunday night.

But during the finale, contestants were seen looking rather tense as their homes went on the hammer.

South Australian couple Daniel and Jade were spotted having a serious looking conversation over the fence with Harry.

Both dressed for comfort, Jade opted for a black tank top while Daniel was dressed in a black T-shirt and shorts.

Jade showed off her natural complexion, and appeared to have gone makeup free for the occasion.  

Both Daniel and Jade had their arms crossed during the live auction. 

The pair’s property sold for $3,800,000, with their reserve set at $3,340,000. The couple ended up pocketing a cool $460,000 

Daniel and Jade said the money would ‘ease the pressures’, allow them to ‘spend more time with the kids’ and not ‘work as hard’. 

Meanwhile, Tash was seen being consoled by her real-life partner Brad while her listing was being auctioned.

She was also joined by her mother, hairdresser to the stars Andrea Paviou.

At one point, Harry was seen having a chat with his fellow contestants from his backyard.

The Victorian father-daughter duo pocketed a cool $650,000, with a bid of $4,000,000, over their reserve of $3,350,000.  

Tash praised her father, saying on camera: ‘I’m so proud of him. It is not easy for him. He did such an amazing job.’

‘He has worked his a** off his whole life for us kids, he’s given us everything. It’s good, dad. So good. Oh, my God.’ 

The Father-daughter duo created a light and airy home complete with luxe interiors, splashes of green and 1920s-inspired designs.

The master bedroom impressed the judges, thanks to its quirky bird wall paper and plush blue velvet bedhead. 

The colourful theme is carried onto the master en suite which is finished with a statement white bathtub and green tiles.
