The Flash star Logan Williams dies tragically at 16 leaving his ‘devastated’ mother struggling to cope with loss alone amid social distancing

The Flash star Logan Williams, who played a young version of the title character on the CW series, has died aged 16.

His mother Marlyse Williams told Tri-City News that she is ‘absolutely devastated’ by his demise, the cause of which has not been reported.

Amid the social distancing brought on by the coronavirus pandemic she is having to cope with her loss alone without the company of her loved ones.

‘I am not able to hug my parents who lost their only grandchild,’ she told the newspaper, which is based in Logan’s native British Columbia.

Logan’s Flash co-star Grant Gustin, who played the adult version of his character Barry Allen, shared his heartbreak on Instagram.

Alongside a picture with and fellow The Flash actor Jesse L. Martin, Grant wrote: ‘Just hearing the devastating news that Logan Williams has passed away suddenly.’

He shared: ‘This picture was early in the filming of The Flash pilot episode back in 2014. I was so impressed by not only Logan’s talent but his professionalism on set.’
