‘Words cannot describe it!’ Bindi Irwin reunites with her late father Steve in a bittersweet fan tribute that brings the wildlife warrior to tears
Bindi Irwin was brought to tears by a stunning family portrait from her wedding day.
Debb Oliver, known as The Monkey Brush on Instagram, created a heartwarming artwork of the Irwins, adding two of Bindi’s loved ones missing on her big day.
The talented artist transformed the group photo of Chandler Powell, Bindi, mum Terri and brother Robert on her special day – adding their dog Piggy, the late Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin and his own beloved dog Sui.

‘My family. Our wedding day. This artwork gave me happy tears,’ Bindi wrote on Instagram.
She added: ‘Thank you to The Monkey Brush for creating such a beautiful piece, it means the world to me.’
Bindi penned a personalised letter to the artist and sent her some personalised Australia Zoo memorabilia to say thank you.

‘Words can’t express how much your beautiful art piece means to our family. We can’t wait to see it in real life. Thank you, thank you, thank you,’ the 22-year-old wrote.
Bindi tragically lost her father Steve in 2006, after the iconic Australian star was pierced in the chest by a stingray barb while filming a wildlife documentary.
Steve’s dog Sui died at 16 years old from cancer in 2004. In his blog at the time, Steve wrote: ‘I wish our pets could live as long as us!’

Bindi tied the knot with husband Chandler Powell at Australia Zoo in March.
Because of the restrictions, only five people were allowed to attend the wedding.
They were joined by Terri, Robert and Steve’s best friend Wes Mannion.
