The Masked Singer reveals another ‘character’ but did they give away too much

The second elaborate costume for the upcoming season of The Masked Singer has been revealed.

After sharing a sneak peek of the mask in the morning, Channel 10 unveiled the full costume of the frilled-neck lizard-esque creature on Tuesday night. 

But while TV viewers were left wondering who it could be, The Masked Singer’s Instagram accidentally revealed a very specific detail – Frillneck is a man! 

‘He’d stick his neck out for you in a pinch,’ the Instagram post teased, revealing the gender of the second contestant. 

In the footage, a muscular physique strutted down the purple carpet runway, donning leather pants that appeared to have body armour similar to motorbike protective gear. 

But the most eye-catching detail was the elaborate frilled neck, which was wider than the contestant’s shoulders. 

It featured lights sewn into the folds, amplifying the already dramatic costume. 

In the background, a cover of the song Fame played – the same song that could be heard in the first teaser on Monday. 

In the trailer shared to Instagram, the sultry singer, dressed as a dragonfly, emerged from a limousine and strutted down a red carpet.  

Dragonfly wore a bright costume with wings as well as stacked, wedged heels with lots of sparkle. 

She appeared to have a lot of sass, and was immensely confident as she arrived on The Masked Singer stage. 

As Dragonfly removed her mask, she appeared to almost give fans a glimpse of her face. 

An air date for The Masked Singer has yet to be announced
