Everyone goes through an awkward teenager stage – including celebrities.
And on Wednesday, successful TV and radio presenter Carrie Bickmore shared a moment of that time with her fans.
The now 39-year-old uploaded some photographs of when she was 16 with braces.

The 39-year-old uploaded three photos to the Hit Network’s Carrie and Tommy show page, which showed her attending a 90s school dance.
‘In this week’s #whenwasthatwednesday Carrie revisits her high school formal and the after party she snuck out for!’ the post was captioned.
At the time, the popular TV personality and Project host wore a halterneck white dress as she posed alongside her date.
In the image, Carrie placed her gingery-brown locks in a stylish curled up-do and smiled broadly showing her braces.

Carrie, now a mother of three, said in 2019 that she was ‘wasn’t ready’ for her son Oliver, 12, to start high school.
‘I feel a gentle sadness creeping over me that I can’t shake. It’s the end of an era. The end of primary school for my eldest and I’m not ready,’ she wrote in Stellar.
She continued at the time: ‘I have friends with kids in high school, I see what’s ahead – the smells, the retreating, the grunting – and I’m not sure I’m ready.’

In an unusual year for schooling, the global coronavirus pandemic forced many Melbourne schools, including the one Carrie’s son attends, to opt for remote learning for their students.
Carrie shares her son Oliver with her husband Greg Lange, who died of brain cancer in 2010.
She also has daughter Evie, five, and her youngest child, Adelaide, one, who she shares with her partner Chris Walker.
