She replied: ‘I’ve come to see you! You’re live on the television.’

You could have warned me,’ he said, a little embarrassed.

Alice joked: ‘At least you’re not in your pyjamas. You are in your slippers though. Are you OK?’

‘Yeah fine’ her father responded.

Alice’s reunion with her father comes after Phil took to social media to write about how much he was missing his mother, Pat, who lives in Cornwall.

The This Morning presenter, 58, posted a throwback mage of himself and his 84-year-old mum posing for a selfie together while in a garden.

Phillip looked sharp in a crisp white shirt, while his mother wore an elegant champagne coloured blouse and a pretty silver necklace.

He captioned the image: ‘#thistimelastyear … Miss ya mum xx.’

Phillip has spent lockdown at his family home in Oxfordshire with his wife Stephanie Lowe, 56, and their daughters Molly, 27, and Ruby, 24.

The TV star was originally believed to be staying in a London flat after coming out as gay earlier this year, however he confirmed he has been staying at his family home.
