‘I don’t even know how to explain this’: Tim Robards posts a cringeworthy throwback photo from his early modelling days

Former Bachelor Tim Robards is known for his muscular physique.

And on Thursday, the reality TV star-turned-Neighbours actor looked unrecognisable in a cringeworthy throwback photo of himself from his old modelling days, which he posted to Instagram.

In the catalogue advertisement from more than a decade ago, a much younger Tim appeared significantly less buff – a far cry to his ripped physique today.

‘I don’t even know how to explain this’: On Thursday, Tim Robards posted a cringeworthy throwback photo from his early modelling days on Instagram modelling a mint green, stripped shirt and had long brown hair styled in textured layers, which were trendy in the mid-2000

Tim modelled a mint green, striped shirt, styled with black trousers and a belt.

Meanwhile, his long brown hair was styled in textured layers, a popular trend in the mid-2000s.

‘Ahhh take me back to Summer 06/07… When life was… simpler… and the haircuts were… well, I don’t even know how to explain this,’ he jokingly wrote in the caption.

Tim has dabbled in modelling and worked as a chiropractor for seven years. He rose to fame as Australia’s first Bachelor in 2013.

He found love with Anna Heinrich, who was an intruder on the show. They tied the knot in Puglia, Italy, back in June 2018.

This comes after Tim told The Daily Telegraph people should go back to basics when working out at home amid the coronavirus pandemic.

He said: ‘It is a good time for us to rethink and get back to absolute basics with our fitness. There is a lot you can do in your living room or backyard.’

Tim told the publication: ‘We should look at the basics to reassess where we have been neglecting ourselves. It is not necessarily a hindrance to not have access to barbels and things like that.

‘There is so much we can still work on that is healthy for us. Learn how to do a handstand or push-up. Now is the time to build those basic foundations.’

It comes as the number of coronavirus cases in Australia continues to grow.

As of late Thursday morning, there are 2,675 confirmed cases in the country, including 12 deaths.
