Tom Schwartz after calling wife Katie Maloney ‘gross’ publicly apologizes on Watch What Happens Live

Tom Schwartz after calling his wife Katie Maloney ‘gross’ on the latest episode of Vanderpump Rules publicly apologized to her on Watch What Happens Live.

The 37-year-old reality star showed remorse on Tuesday’s at-home edition of the Bravo talk show hosted by Andy Cohen, 51, after berating Katie, 33, in front of their friends.  

‘Way out of line, way douche-y. I was hammered. We’d been drinking all day, which is usually a recipe for disaster within the confines of our relationship,’ said Tom, who was spotted walking their dogs Wednesday in Los Angeles.

Tom exploded at his wife after she failed to find the humor in a prank during Jax Taylor’s 40th birthday in which his business partner Tom Sandoval, 36, was arrested by fake cops who handcuffed him and put him in a patrol car for alleged vandalism. 

‘This s*** is actually annoying to me,’ Katie told their friends about the fake arrest in light of police brutality and added in a confessional: ‘Like, turn on the news.’

Schwartz then told her to ‘shut up.’ 

‘You’re ruining a great moment. We’re laughing,’ he said. ‘Nobody gives a s*** about your opinion.’

‘I’ve never been more turned off in my life,’ he added. ‘That’s why I don’t have sex with her.’ 

Schwartz on WWHL said that Katie’s reaction to the prank irked him.

‘I don’t know, it’s something about the way she responded that rubbed me the wrong way. I tried to explain to Beau the next day — first of all, I know I was wrong — but at that moment I saw her as the embodiment of a YouTube commenter, recreational outrage,’ he said, referencing Stassi Schroeder’s fiance Beau Clark.

Schwartz realized that he was wrong and publicly apologized to Katie. 

‘I’m so sorry! I’m sorry, I love you,’ he said. ‘I was way out of line.’ 

They appeared remotely on the Bravo talk show after the episode aired along with couples Stassi and Beau and Jax and Brittany Cartwright

Tom during his tirade against Katie pretended to throw up at the sight of her while also calling her an  an ‘idiot’, ‘moron’, and ‘gross’.

‘That’s another two months we’re not having sex,’ he said.

An emotional Katie began to leave the party, and as Tom started to follow her out, she stopped him.

‘Stop!’ she said. ‘I’m not going with you.’

The ugly fight was triggered following a series of pranks orchestrated for Jax’s 40th birthday. 

The police prank was payback for Sandoval TP-ing Jax’s house as a birthday joke. 

As fans are well-aware, this is not the first time Tom and Katie have had such a heated exchange. 

Katie once told Tom back in 2016, ‘Let’s talk about how your dick doesn’t work either.’ 

The couple also had a major fight at their joint bachelor/bachelorette party back in 2016.

Addressing their most recent fight on the after show, Katie insisted their pattern has been to go below the belt. 

‘We go for the jugular,’ Katie said. 

‘It’s like when Katie… would go after my d**k. Yeah, my d**k’s great, ‘ he said, laughing. ‘It’s just like a thing, it’s a cheap shot. ‘Yeah well your d**k doesn’t work.’ There’s no history of my… let’s not talk about my d**k,’ he added.

‘It’s just a cheap, kind of lazy jab,’ he insisted. 

‘We just say outlandish, mean (expletive) that we don’t mean,’ Katie said. Though the words may hurt, they know not to believe what they are saying.
