Ella Rae Wise is confronted by her new love interest Roman Hackett for flirting with Pete Wicks yet again on the latest episode of The Only Way is Essex.
Pete, 32, and Ella, 20, have enjoyed a flirtatious friendship ever since they shared a drunken kiss in weeks past but later insisted they would keep things platonic.
However, Ella’s continued interest in Pete has not gone unnoticed by Roman, 18, who warned her he doesn’t know if he wants to get involved with her if she still has feelings for him in a clip from Sunday’s episode.

Attending a Bridgerton-inspired event with the rest of their co-stars, Roman approached Ella and told her Liam ‘Gatsby’ Blackwell had warned him she was still flirting with Pete.
He said: ‘Last night I heard you were flirting with Pete still. I spoke to Gatsby and he was like, “If you do like the girl, I don’t think you should go there because you’re going to get hurt.”‘
Ella admitted she had flirted with Pete again but insisted that she would stop flirting with him for good if things were to get serious between her and Roman.
She replied: ‘We were flirting, I’m not gonna lie because that’s just the relationship we have. If you were to come into the question of me and you to be serious, then me and Pete wouldn’t even be friends.’

Roman said: ‘You’re single so you can do what you want but from what I’m seeing, I don’t know if I want to get involved in it.’
‘It’s completely up to you what you want to do,’ Ella said.
Roman then admitted he had previously been hurt by an ex-girlfriend who still had feelings for a former partner and didn’t want the same to happen again.
He said: ‘I still want to chat to you at the end of the day. I’ve been hurt kind of in the same way where someone was with another person.

‘I don’t want to go that route again because it f****d me up. I’m not attached to you but I can see myself getting attached to you.’
Ella replied: ‘I do get it. I’m just a bit p****d off right now because Rem (LaRue) has tried to throw a spanner in the works cos he’s p****d off with you.’
Roman agreed, saying: ‘I knew it was coming cause he’s a sly one.’
‘I don’t really know what to say,’ Ella admitted.

It comes after Pete couldn’t help but flirt with Ella as he admitted there’s some ‘sexual tension’ between them during an episode that aired in March.
Pete also apologised for making the blonde beauty feel ‘mugged off’ when she claimed he’d been ‘downplaying’ their embrace to others.
Pete was enjoying a catch up with pal Diags, 29, when a very stylish Ella appeared at the same cafe to pick up a coffee.
After a short awkward pause, Ella turned to Pete and spoke her mind as she said: ‘I’ve a bone to pick with you. I feel like you’re playing the kiss down.
‘Are you embarrassed? I feel like you’re being muggy and didn’t like the fact I told people we had a kiss.’
Heating up? It comes after Pete couldn’t help but flirt with Ella as he admitted there’s some ‘sexual tension’ between them during an episode that aired in March
Pete replied: ‘I was confused seeing as it happened three months ago… the problem now is that everyone’s blown it into something bigger than it is.’
Sitting inbetween the two potential flames, Diags then piped up saying he could ‘feel some weird tension’ in the room.
Looking at Ella, Pete said: ‘Yeah, it is sexual tension and I flirt when I see you, especially when you look like that, what do you expect me to do?’
Things then took a slight turn towards the serious as Diags delivered a telling one-liner to his pal, saying: ‘It feels like you’re saving yourself at the expense of other peoples feelings.’

Ella agreed wholeheartedly, with Pete then apologising to her if she felt ‘mugged off’ because of whatever he’d said to others.
Concluding the chat on a lighter note, the duo decided that they’d ‘f**k everyone else and do what they want’, with Ella joking you’ve got to ‘try before you buy’.
As she left the cafe, Pete turned to Diags and told him: ‘You just threw me under the bus you silly p***k.’
