The conversation about babies began in the last two minutes of the show with Katie bringing it up initially.

She said that everyone has been asking them about when they’re going to have a baby, mentioning that he has commitment phobia.

Tom responded with: ‘I mean, I’ve gotten better about being in the present and not living in the future, like we talked about.’

Adding: But I’m still kind of living in the present. Like we’ll have a baby when the time is right.’

However, Katie noted that it ‘doesn’t work like that. I’ve got the app and right now, tonight is not [the time]. But we can practice.’

The duo also talked about how they met, which was actually through their Vanderpump Rules co-star Kristen Doute.

Katie said: ‘One night, I don’t know if it was like after work, but one night Kristin’s like, let’s go to the Belmont, Tom is coming.’

She explained that Kristen finally convinced her to meet him, but once they get their he barely said hi because he couldn’t come in since he forgot his ID.

So they went to his apartment but Katie said that Tom had a girl with him, even though Kristen convinced her to meet up with him.

‘He’s got a girl with him. I’m like, dude, this is not going well at all,’ she said.

Tom interjected and said that while he did have a girl there, it was more platonic, but then adds that maybe they did ‘hook up’ but that they were more friends ‘with like two beneficial occasions.’

Katie said that as the night wore on they were having fun and hit it off, talking in the living room while that girl was upset and sitting in his bedroom.

As they continued with their story, Tom said ‘I knew it the moment I laid eyes on you and spend the rest of our life [together].’

They initially both didn’t want a relationship and they kept it casual with no label, but Katie said they both ‘ended up catching feelings.’

She said that she ended up asking him if he wanted to be boyfriend and he had said he wasn’t sure if he’d be a good boyfriend but that he’s ‘down to give it a shot.’

Katie and Tom tied the knot in 2016 and made it legal on July 24, 2019 in Las Vegas.
