He retired from football in 2013 after an impressive 17 years on the pitch. 

And David Beckham, 45, was taken on a trip down memory lane by wife Victoria, 46, with a  sweet Instagram video on Monday. 

The mum-of-four shared a video montage looking back at career highlights and epic moments from his football days.

The fashion designer penned: ‘Can’t believe it’s been 7 years today since @DavidBeckham played his last game as professional footballer. 

‘We are all so proud!!!! We love u xxx Can’t wait for your next chapter @intermiamicf x’ 

David also shared the clip on his own profile and added: ‘I can’t believe it’s 7 years today since I played my last game as professional footballer. Such great memories.

‘I was so lucky to have played with incredible teammates and had amazing support from the fans. Still miss it. Can’t wait for the next chapter @intermiamicf.’

The video showed David back when he was a school boy signing his first contract with Manchester United with then-manager Alex Ferguson.

It also showed various iconic goals from the king of the free kicks and even a cameo from a young Brooklyn Beckham, 21. 

The video also covered David’s high-profile stint on the England national side, where he served as captain.

David’s own football team, The Inter Miami team made their MLS League debut away to Los Angeles FC at the beginning of March, where they lost 1-0. 

Due to coronavirus all following matches have been postponed.  

Victoria and David are currently isolating with three of their four children at their £6million Cotswolds mansion amid the UK’s coronavirus lockdown.
