WAG Tayla Damir sends fans into a frenzy with loved-up tribute to AFL star boyfriend Nathan Broad

Love Island Australia winner Tayla Damir, 23, has sent fans into a frenzy with her latest loved-up post with Richmond Tigers player beau Nathan Broad, 27.

Tayla and Nathan looked absolutely smitten with each other in a stop-start photo gallery showing their affection for one another.

Almost a year after debuting their relationship, fans were quick to jump to the conclusion the pair were preparing to announce an engagement.

In the photos, Tayla was seen laughing and cuddling up to the sportsman, while Nathan wrapped his arm around her waist as she sat on his lap.

‘Life’s thrown us some challenges this year. 3 quarantines, living in 3 states and being separated for over 3 months didn’t even come close to putting a dent in my love for you,’ Tayla began in the caption.

She added: ‘Thanks for making what should have been a horrible year, completely worth it.’

Interesting, over the past week, the couple have both ‘liked’ numerous posts by friends and fans that have used the ring emoji in the comment section of their posts.

Tayla however has laughed off suggestions the pair were engaged in other comments on her page, and has not been wearing a ring. 

Tayla and Nathan first confirmed their relationship in January, but have spent much of the year dating long-distance.

Initially, the couple were forced to date long-distance as Tayla was living in Sydney while Nathan lived in Melbourne.

As the borders began closing amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Tayla decided to fly back to her Perth hometown to live with her family.

Meanwhile, Nathan relocated to Queensland for the AFL season.

The pair were able to reunite for several weeks in September after Tayla travelled to Queensland to join the AFL quarantine hub.

‘It’s crazy but at the end of the day I’m just trying to look at it as an adventure and embrace the uncertainty in our life,’ Tayla told PerthNow of her long-distance romance in August.   

In October, the former beauty queen watched from the grandstands as her boyfriend Nathan’s team won the AFL Grand Final.

Tayla shared a loving tribute to her footballer beau on Instagram moments after his big win, uploading several photos with a caption that read: ‘You are amazing!’
