Wendy Williams cuts a chic figure in Chanel while out after revealed to be Lips on The Masked Singer

Wendy Williams put her chic sense of style on display while out in New York on Monday.

The talk show hostess exuded classic elegance while wearing a long, houndstooth Chanel coat.

Wendy, 56, was back to business after being revealed as Lips on the last episode of The Masked Singer.

Her outfit was the perfect balance of high fashion and comfort. Wendy walked around in simple white sneakers while donning a black jersey dress.

But her coat was really the showstopper, sweeping down to the ground and featuring a glittering Chanel monogram on the chest.

She added a few more high fashion touches with a black crocodile skin bowling bag and giant diamond earrings.

The media mogul had her caramel tresses down loose, looking sleek and shiny.

Wendy is fresh off her appearance on The Masked Singer, where she was revealed to be the Lips character last week.

‘I can’t sing, I can’t dance, but I know how to have fun!’,’ Wendy, 56, said after pulling off her mask and giggling with show host Nick Cannon, 40, a longtime friend.

‘Wendy, you keep a great secret, cause I just talked to you days ago and you knew the whole time!’ Nick marveled after watching her rendition of Odyssey’s Native New Yorker.

Before her big Masked Singer surprise, Wendy dealt with fans’ worries over her well-being after she was seen mispronouncing words and seeming to lose focus while on-air.

On Monday, Williams appeared to address her audience’s concerns directly, after viewers noticed she seemed to be off her game during last Friday’s show.

‘You know, I come here every day and I try to do the best that I can for you,’ Williams said, following the online backlash.

‘I appreciate you watching, but it’s, you know, even after all of these years, it’s still work. You know, an effort put in for the hour that I’m out here with you,’ she added.

She continued to say that she is not a ‘perfectionist,’ before adding that she was very grateful to her fans for watching her show.

‘I do appreciate you putting in the effort to watch us and I…I love entertaining you, you know?’ as she continued to add, ‘It’s not easy. It is not easy. You’re a tough crowd.’

Despite speaking to her audience, she never provided any reason for her off behavior on Friday.

In both cases, Williams, who also seemed to be breathing irregularly in the segment, acknowledged both of her mistaken pronunciations.

Williams also seemed to go off topic speaking about the Shoe Cam jingle on her program, prompting one of her associates to try and refocus her attention for the TV segment.

Williams, who returned to her studio in her native New York City last month, has made recent gaffes in the form on repeated mispronunciations – she called the coronavirus ‘cornova’ earlier this month and on-air burping.
