Why Big Brother evictee Marissa Rancan is expecting MAJOR drama when the cast reunite at the live finale

Big Brother’s Marissa Rancan is expecting fireworks at the upcoming cast reunion.

The 61-year-old, who was voted out on Monday’s episode, told New Idea she was looking forward to catching up with the other housemates, but wouldn’t be surprised if there was drama.

‘When you’ve spent so much time with people, you’re thinking, “Oh, what have you been up to?” You spent 24-seven with these people, then nothing,’ she said.

‘I’m sure someone’s got to say something’: Big Brother evictee Marissa Rancan (pictured) said she is expecting big drama between the cast at the upcoming live reunion finale

The reality star, who was once part of the 1980s aerobics group The Rancan Sisters, believes tensions will come to the surface at the live finale.

‘I’m sure someone’s got to say something and someone’s going to be opposite about it, or someone’s going to call somebody out on it,’ Marissa said.

‘I don’t think Big Brother is without drama,’ she added.

It comes after Marissa claimed that there was a tense confrontation in the house between herself and Daniel Gorringe that never went to air.

She had mocked the former AFL player behind his back for ‘moping and crying’ about his ex-girlfriend Ana Cannon.

While viewers saw the moment Daniel learned of the insult – male model Chad Hurst told him about it – they weren’t privy to the aftermath.

According to Marissa, Daniel confronted her about what she’d said, but the argument that followed was left on the cutting room floor.

She explained: ‘At the end of the day, Dan came up to me and said, “Did you say this about me?” and I said, “Yes I did, Dan,”‘ Marissa said.

‘People are just saying whatever they want to say to make somebody else upset or to get rid of someone and to stay in the game.’

Marissa was eliminated by a unanimous vote on Monday after her plan to be a double agent between the two remaining dominant teams backfired spectacularly.

There are now only nine housemates left vying for the $250,000 cash prize.

Australia will vote for a winner next month during a live finale when there are only three contestants remaining.

Big Brother Australia continues Tuesday at 7:30pm on Channel 10
