A shopper who picked up a wide-brimmed hat online ahead of the summer season got the shock of her life when it arrived.
Twitter user Kate Elizabeth, from England, shared a video of herself wearing the hat, from ASOS, telling her followers: ‘It takes over-size to a new level’.
A video shows Kate being dwarfed by the brown floppy hat as she tries it on for size, offering a cautionary tale about buying online when you’re not entirely sure of measurements.

Nearly 60,000 people have since watched the videos which sees the fashion fan left open-mouthed at the sight of herself in the enormous headwear.
She posted afterwards: ‘Even when it’s buttoned back I look like a giant mushroom lol’.
The £11 hat, an ASOS-own oversized straw hat with size adjuster, comes in brown, pink and hot pink and, according to the online retail giant, is selling fast.
However, for Kate, the on-trend item was a fashion fail…but Asos found the ensuing videos funny, saying: ‘Size matters’ in response on Twitter.
The hat, which measures 58cm around the head and has a domed crown, is meant to be worn floppy.
