A doctor has revealed how constantly looking down at screens over lockdown has led to more women seeking a £7,500 treatment to help the appearance of sagging skin.
Dr. Olivier Amar, CMO of new cosmetic treatment company Uvence told FEMAIL that since the pandemic began, he’s seen an influx of clients requesting treatments focused on combating signs of ageing and stress around the neck.
The Uvence procedure extracts fat tissue from a patient through liposuction, which undergoes an extensive emulsification, distillation and purification process to create ‘Super Enriched Tissue’, or ‘biofiller’.
The enhanced fat tissue is then re-injected into your decolletage, and Dr. Olivier claims that while the injection area will continue to repair and rejuvenate over the course of several weeks – clients can expect to see results ‘almost immediately’.

‘Patients have been asking for a variety of treatments focused on combating signs of ageing and stress, focusing on the neck, eyes and forehead,’ he told.
‘With regard to the neck area specifically, many patients are inquiring about non-surgical treatments to combat downward drag of skin and avoid the development of deep creases and lines in the skin.’
In some cases, clients are interested in treatments such as fillers or Botox, whilst other patients are interested in more radical options such as surgical procedures like a neck lift, to actively tighten the skin around the neck and smooth out the skin.
But according to Dr. Olivier, more and more patients are now coming to understand the potential benefits of ‘regenerative’ treatments – which work to reverse or actively combat the signs of ageing and skin decline.

He explained: ‘These regenerative treatments work by harnessing the body’s own self-repair mechanism to boost the rejuvenation of skin – the better quality skin you have, the better the overall result will be from any procedure.’
The Uvence treatment extracts a small amount of fat tissue from a patient, purifies it, and then re-injects the preserved live cells to dramatically improve the look and feel of the skin with immediate effect.
The area of the skin which receives the injection then continues to display rejuvenate benefits over a period of several months.
This treatment can also complement a range of other procedures, including energy device treatments such as radio frequency and lasers, and other surgical options.
Treatments which offer a natural, regenerative solution come with a higher price point, but Olivier claims they come with a host of benefits and long-term results.
‘For example, a full course of Uvence treatment is £7,500’, he said, ‘However, this price tag covers the cost of the initial fat extraction, the tissue purification process, re-injections of 5 treatments, and cryo-preservation of the tissue for up to 5 years.
‘The payment can be spread out across the 5 year process, providing patients with a long-term solution to actively repair and rejuvenate their skin and combat the signs of ageing.’
Likened to ‘surgery in a box’, the Uvence procedure extracts fat tissue from a patient via minimally invasive liposuction.
Then, the tissue undergoes an extensive emulsification, distillation and purification process to create ‘Super Enriched Tissue’, a fluid rich in biochemically active molecules associated with skin repair.
Once the ‘Super Enriched Tissue’ has been created, it is then stored at Uvence’s cryogenic preservation facility, ready and waiting for the patient to request a re-injection.
When the patient requests a re-injection, Uvence transports the patient’s super enriched tissue to their desired clinic, and re-injects the fluid at the patient’s discretion, offering a fully on-demand service for skin rejuvenation.
The ‘biofiller’ can be re-injected almost anywhere on the body, with immediate and long lasting results.
