Wonder Woman the TV series with Lynda Carter is streaming on HBO Max in anticipation of WW 1984’s Christmas Day release

Wonder Woman 1984 is coming out on Christmas Day.

And to get fans excited about the new movie starring Gal Gadot and directed by Patty Jenkins, HBO Max will be showing old episodes of the Wonder Woman TV series starring Lynda Carter.

The show was a smash hit when it aired from 1975 until 1979.

One said it ‘your cameo on Supergirl as the President. You give them a ride in Air Force One and then with a wink, tell Supergirl that she should see your other plane. Nice shoutout to those that know.’

Wonder Woman 1984 fast forwards to the 1980s as Wonder Woman’s next big screen adventure finds the fate of the world once more on the line, and only Wonder Woman can save it, according to a press release.

The film also stars Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, Pedro Pascal, Robin Wright and Connie Nielsen.

Charles Roven, Deborah Snyder, Zack Snyder, Patty Jenkins, Gal Gadot and Stephen Jones produced the film.  

Jenkins directed from a screenplay she wrote with Geoff Johns & Dave Callaham, story by Jenkins & Johns, based on characters from DC. Wonder Woman was created by William Moulton Marston.

The movie is distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures and will be in U.S. theaters and on HBO Max December 25, 2020.
