A mother-of-four has showcased her incredible transformation after losing a staggering eight stone during lockdown – by rocking out to heavy metal music.
Su Morgan, 40, from Birmingham, West Midlands reached 18st 7lb after years of downing two litres of Dr Pepper each day and gorging on double portions of dinner and takeaways.
But during lockdown she decided it was time to make a change and began taking part in a heavy metal dance class five times a week.
After cutting down her portion sizes, Su has now managed to shed a whopping 8st 6lbs and drop down to a healthier 10st 1lb, revealing: ‘I can’t believe I did it all on my own and the weight was dropping away.’

Su said she has always been on the ‘bigger side’ and started piling on the pounds in her teens.
Being a busy single mum to daughters Aylssa, 14, Phoebe, 11, Taylor, nine, and Sophie, three, Su struggled to find time to cook and would opt for quick, convenient food.
For breakfast she would have four slices of toast followed by Greggs for lunch and a takeaway for dinner.
Su said: ‘I would pick easy dinners like pizza, chips and my portion sizes were always huge.

‘I could easily drink two litres of Dr Pepper a day followed by a sharing bag of crisps as a snack.’
Su’s weight spiraled out of control and she soon tipped the scales at 18st 7lbs.
She spoke with doctors about getting a gastric band fitted, but was told she needed to lose some weight for the procedure.

Su started looking for exercises classes online during the first lockdown in March 2020 and discovered ‘Rock Fit’.
The aerobics class is set to heavy metal rock music and she would join in six or seven days a week.
She said: ‘I found the rock aerobics class during lockdown and I fell in love.
‘It’s the most fun I’ve ever had exercising and I would be dripping in sweat afterward.

Since losing the weight, Su admitted she suffered skin rashes due to her loose skin, pictured, and is hoping to raise £5,000 via a GoFundMe to finance a tummy tuck surgery
Su is hoping to get rid of her loose skin, and said in spite of her ‘loving’ her new slim frame, she also ‘hates’ her body at the same time
‘I do a lot for other people and I thought it was finally time I did something for myself.’
She continued: ‘I love rock music and attending Download Festival. The class is not available in my city so I was really lucky it was streamed online.
‘I was still eating the things I loved, just small portions. I was also inspired by my friend Christina to lose weight and follow in her footsteps.’
However she has been left with a surplus of saggy skin on her tummy from the weight loss.

Su has set up a funding page with the hopes of raising £5,000 to fund a tummy tuck which she cannot get on the NHS.
She said: ‘I love and hate my body now. I hate looking at my saggy tummy so much but I know it’s because I’ve worked really hard.
‘I found something I’m really passionate about.
‘I’m really proud of myself and hopefully I can inspire others to do the same.’
