Bindi Irwin proudly has followed on in her late father Steve Irwin’s footsteps, through her passion and commitment to wildlife and conservation.
And on Friday, the 22-year-old Wildlife Warrior shared a touching photo of her father and a quote from him as she marked Earth Day, which was on Thursday.
Bindi posted on Instagram a picture of Steve with a crocodile hatching, which gained more than 142,000 likes.

‘Come with me. Share it with me. Share my wildlife with me. Because humans want to save the things that they love,’ the quote from Steve read.
It finished: ‘My job, my mission, the reason I’ve been put onto this planet is to save wildlife. And I thank you for coming with me.’
Bindi added the hashtag ‘Earth Day.’

Bindi, her mother Terri Irwin and her brother Robert have followed on in Steve’s footsteps through their conservation efforts and work at Australia Zoo.

‘There are no words to describe the infinite amount of love in our hearts for our sweet baby girl. She chose the perfect day to be born and we feel tremendously blessed,’ Bindi said in part of her announcement post.
