She recently marked her comeback to UK TV as she stepped in for Lorraine Kelly on her ITV show over the Easter period after 14 years living in the US.

And Cat Deeley treated fans to a rare glimpse of her personal life as she uploaded a sweet clip of her sons Milo, five, and James, two, hugging on their first day back at school after half-term on Wednesday.

The presenter, 44, who is married to comedian Patrick Kielty, 50, captured the sweet moment of her children embracing each other in their uniform as they appeared excited to head back to the classroom.

The boys flashed wide grins as they posed for images and videos shortly before reuniting with their friends.

Cat and television host Patrick tied the knot in September 2012 following a long-term relationship.

The pair had been friends for years before their friendship turned to romance thanks to Patrick’s major gesture, after first striking up a bond while co-hosting Fame Academy back in 2002.

The mother-of-two recently shared a clip of her homeschooling with son Milo and she said she was ‘losing her mind’ while stuck indoors.

Birmingham-born Cat and her family moved back to the UK in 2020 after living happily in Los Angeles for over a decade.

They put their Beverly Hills mansion on the market for $4.9 million (£3.8 million), in August 2020, and are now living in north London.

The blonde recently revealed the ‘catalyst’ for the family’s departure was the terrifying moment Patrick and their eldest son narrowly avoided a public shooting incident at the Century City Mall.

Speaking on the Made By Mammas podcast in December, the Fame Academy star said: ‘It was always kind of in our minds that we would, at some stage or another you know, come back.

‘The main factor was friends and family because we will never get this time back again.’
