Coronation Street fans have been left in hysterics after Simon Barlow’s hair appeared to grow during an ad break.
The bosses of the soap have been attempting to match pre and post lockdown scenes together after filming resumed following the long break due to the pandemic.
But Barlow’s locks appeared visibly longer and more shaggy in later scenes of Wednesday night’s episode.

Eagle-eyed fans were quick to point out the gaffe with one fan posting on Twitter: ‘Simon Barlow had a looooong ad break #corrie.’
The popular ITV character, played by actor Alex Bain, donned a bright red hoody in one scene after he was challenged over skipping a recent exam.
Later on in the show, Simon sported the same hoody as he sat at home, but his curly locks were noticeably longer.

Other viewers joined in on the joke, adding: ‘I know, looks like he’s aged two months.’
Another wrote: ‘It is like when the Neighbours cast take their Christmas summer break and once a year all the cast are suddenly all tanned with different hair?!’
A representative for Coronation Street has been contacted for comment.
Viewers also spotted another hair blunder in the same episode when actor Charlie De Melo was seen sporting a shorter style than usual.
The actor, who plays solicitor Imran Habeeb, underwent a dramatic transformation and shaved his head at the start of lockdown.
It comes after viewers on Tuesday spotted another major continuity blunder, which saw the character of Nick Tilsley go from clean-shaven to bearded in a matter of moments.

Actor Ben Price, who plays the role, was seen in an early-morning scene, in a dressing gown, freshly-shaven.
But in his next appearance, which saw him dressed for the day, he sported a rough stubbly look.
Production on The Cobbles resumed last month as lockdown restrictions began to ease. Episodes that were half-filmed before the set was shutdown are quickly being finished.
The cast and crew are now also subject to a string of safety measures around the set in order to adhere to social distancing.
Coronation Street continues Wednesday at 7:30PM on ITV.
