David Foster, 70, has five biological daughters – including one he gave up for adoption when he was 20 and four from his first two marriages – as well as five famous stepchildren over the years.
His first child, Allison Jones Foster was born in 1970 when David was just 20. He subsequently placed her up for adoption, but reconnected with her when she was 30 and she now works for the David Foster Foundation, and has two children.

However in December, fashion designers Sara Foster, 38, and Erin Foster, 37, spoke out on the Sibling Revelry podcast, detailing how Foster was more concerned with bringing up the Jenner boys during his 1991-2005 marriage to their mother, Linda Thompson following his 1986 split from the girls’ mother Rebecca Dyer.

However his daughters have been outspoken about him, with Sara recently saying on the Sibling Revelry podcast: ‘Our dad was raising other children – he wasn’t raising us – he was raising Brandon and Brody.
‘So, for Erin, what weighed so heavily on her, was me. I was dealing with my whole own emotional turmoil, which was watching my father raise other children.T hat kept me up at night.’
Writer Erin said: ‘They had a very different life. But, out in the world, people would be like, ‘You guys are spoilt brats, you have it all’.
‘And we would be like, ‘Yeah, but we don’t live there. We don’t have the gate code. We don’t have a room there. We’re not really a part of that world’.’

Last year David, 70, married his current wife of Pop Idol fame Katharine, 36.
McPhee attended the same Catholic school as Markle, with Meghan in high school when McPhee was at the Los Angeles middle school.
‘She went to a school called Immaculate Heart, as did I. She went there for middle school and high school, and I went there just for middle school,’ McPhee explained.
‘I did a couple of shows with her and she was always put together and great,’ McPhee recalled. ‘I was never really close friends with her.’
She said that while she was performing in Waitress the musical in London, she and her husband, Foster, 70, got to speak with Prince Harry and Meghan.
The singer recently spoke out about his relationship with Prince Harry, revealing how he set the royals up with their Canadian hideaway before they moved to LA.
‘My husband has a really, really beautiful relationship with Harry. They’re so cute, McPhee told Access Hollywood.
‘They’re like father and son’ .
