They’ve been isolating separately amid the coronavirus lockdown.

And James Argent took to Instagram on Sunday to lament how much he’s missing girlfriend Gemma Collins as she continues to isolate at her own home amid filming for her new TV show.

The TOWIE star, 32, shared a romantic throwback snap of the pair in Paris as he moaned that lockdown ‘absolutely sucked’ without the 39-year-old self-proclaimed diva.

In the image, the on-off couple locked lips against the dazzling backdrop of the Eiffel tower at night.

Sharing how much he’s missing being without his reality star girlfriend, James penned: ‘Lockdown absolutely sucks without you GC but I understand you have to entertain the nation & put a smile on peoples faces at this difficult time! #imissyou #wellmeetagain.’

Arg’s rare post comes weeks after he addressed his staggering weight loss as he shared a before and after photo on Instagram earlier this month.

The TV personality is continuing his recovery after he flew to Thailand earlier this year to go to rehab for his drug and drink addiction.

Arg posted a picture from his run earlier that week, alongside a photo of himself at pal Elliott Wright’s son’s christening in April last year.

The reality star captioned the post: ‘I’m making progress, Inside & Outside One day at a time’.

Elsewhere, his partner Gemma recently revealed she felt like she was back in the Big Brother house after dozens of fixed cameras were placed in her home so that she could film her reality show while adhering to social distancing measures.

Ahead of the launch of Gemma Collins: Diva on Lockdown on Sunday night, the star told The Sun: ‘It’s bizarre. We’d planned the whole series and were meant to be going here, there and everywhere, but we just haven’t been able to do it.

‘But as I always do, I wanted to make the best of every situation and I do believe we’ve been able to make a fantastic series.’

She continued: ‘I’m a reality queen and I want people to see the realness. But I’m not gonna lie, putting the fixed cameras in my home was like being back on Big Brother again, but without a bunch of annoying people around me.’

Gemma then went on to give an account of how she’s coping with lockdown restrictions, adding she’s felt a ‘whirlwind of emotions.’
