Kerry Washington shares behind-the-scenes snap from Jane Fonda’s Exercise that Vote video that brings back 80s retro fitness fashion
The iconic Jane Fonda revisited her 80s fitness heyday with a new video stressing the importance of exercising… your right to vote, with celebs such as Kerry Washington also making appearances.
Washington, 43, also took to her Instagram on Monday with a behind-the-scenes snap featuring her 80s fitness wardrobe.
Fonda and Washington were joined by Vanessa Hudgens, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom, Amy Schumer, Ken Jeong, Ashley Benson and Shaq for the video.

Washington was wearing a black t-shirt with a blue and purple logo with green lettering that read ‘Let’s get physical.’
She was also wearing a hot pink headband and matching hot pink wristbands, with her hair pulled back into a bun.
She completed her look with silver shorts over multi-colored leggings, with gold earrings while holding small hot pink dumbbells.

The video, a clear homage to the wildly successful Jane Fonda Workout videos from the 1980s, reminded fans that Monday is the last day to register to vote in many states.
She also had a link in her bio to a new website ExerciseThatVote.com, which guides unregistered voters through the process of registering to vote.
Monday marked the last day to register to vote in Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, Tennessee and Texas.

The first Jane Fonda Workout video that debuted on VHS in 1982 became the best-selling VHS tape of all time.
She released 22 more Jane Fonda Workout videos over the next 13 years, which collectively sold 17 million copies worldwide.
The workout routine was created by Leni Cazden who refined it with Fonda at Workout, their Beverly Hills exercise studio.

Washington is coming off the hit Hulu series Little Fires Everywhere, which she starred in alongside Reese Witherspoon.
She’ll next be seen in The Prom, writer-director Ryan Murphy’s latest movie which debuts on Netflix December 11.
The actress is also attached to star in Run and 24-7, the latter of which she’ll co-star alongside Eva Longoria, who also directs.
