Married At First Sight’s Jake Edwards confirmed he’s moved on from his ‘ex-wife’ Beck Zemek with stunning mother-of-four Sophie Guidolin over the weekend.
And now, the 33-year-old charity CEO has candidly shared new details about his whirlwind romance.
In an episode titled The Man Who Has Flipped My World Upside Down, the couple spoke about everything from how they met to Jake’s permanent dedication.

Speaking on her podcast, Flourish & Fulfilled, Sophie said her favourite birthday gift was ‘a tattoo on Jake of my name, which is across him, which is really beautiful’.
‘For me, it wasn’t an issue at all,’ Jake said of getting Sophie’s name inked.
‘I’ve always said I’ll never get a female’s name tattooed on me,’ he said before adding that Sophie was able to change that.

Sophie told her listeners that she intiationed a conversation with Jake on online last year, weeks before he appeared on the Channel Nine reality show.
‘So last year I jumped on Instagram and saw all of the incredible work that you were doing, and you blew me away. I slid into the DMs — not once, not twice, just really unsubtly threw myself in there,’ she explained.
‘I left you love heart emojis, which were not reciprocated. All the girls were like, “Stop embarrassing yourself, he is clearly not interested”.’
‘I got the hint, cracked the sh***s and unfollowed you,’ she continued.
‘And then I received a message from you that said that somebody had come in and taken over your Instagram account and here’s your telephone number to only text you,’ she continued.
‘For me, it wasn’t an issue at all,’ Jake said of getting Sophie’s name inked. ‘I’ve always said I’ll never get a female’s name tattooed on me,’ he said before adding that Sophie was able to change that
Sophie explained that her regular phone calls with Jake quickly progressed to Facetime chats, which lasted for countless hours, before they finally met in real life.
‘You had this aura about you that’s like nothing I’ve ever seen before in my entire life, and I knew that I was in love,’ Jake said. ‘That’s the legitimate truth about how I felt when I first saw you.’
‘I saw you at the airport and I was like, ‘I don’t know what this feeling is, what the hell have I done?” she said.

New man: Last month, Sophie also confirmed she was in a new relationship by sharing a photo of herself cuddling a man in a green shirt. While the man’s face wasn’t visible in her Instagram post, the shirt resembled one Jake was pictured wearing during filming in November
Jake went on to tell listeners that while they may have not been together for long, he knows she’s the one.
‘I think in the past, I thought I’ve been in love, I’ve said I’ve been in love with people, but when I met you I was like, “Oh my God I have not been in love”,’ he gushed.
‘As soon as I seen you and met you and we spent time, it was like this is what love is. Genuinely, it’s a feeling I’ve never experienced before. I knew straight away that I’m going to be with you forever.’
Forever! Jake went on to tell listeners that while they may have not been together for long, he knows she’s the one. ‘I think in the past, I thought I’ve been in love, I’ve said I’ve been in love with people, but when I met you I was like, ‘Oh my God I have not been in love’
‘As crazy as that may sound for people to hear, and who haven’t experienced it before, for those who have experienced it they know what we’re talking about, and I hope everyone who hasn’t gets to experience it once in their lifetime, because it just blew me off my feet. I was not expecting it.’
Jake and his new nutritionist girlfriend Sophie confirmed their romance when they were spotted enjoying a romantic Noosa getaway.
At the time, Sophie also confirmed she was in a new relationship by sharing a photo of herself cuddling a man whose upper-arm tattoos also matched Jake’s.
