MAFS: Martha Kalifatidis snaps as Michael posts unflattering video online

Married At First Sight’s Michael Brunelli is in the doghouse with Martha Kalifatidis after posting an unflattering video on social media of her without makeup on.

The personal trainer, 30, filmed his girlfriend, 32, in bed on Friday morning and uploaded the footage on Instagram – despite her begging him not to.

Michael appeared to be using the selfie mode as Martha could see herself as he recorded her, and she made no secret of the fact she wasn’t camera ready.

‘Can you stop that? I look like a f**king thumb!’ the influencer snapped.

‘Yeah, but I’m not posting any of these,’ her boyfriend replied.

‘But I don’t even want to see myself looking like a thumb,’ Martha protested, as she readjusted her hair and tried to pose at a different angle.

Michael then really put his foot in it by saying: ‘But that’s what you normally look like.’

When he uploaded the clip on Instagram Stories, he captioned it: ‘”I’m not posting any of these” – Michael, 2020’ alongside a coffin emoji.

Meanwhile, Martha and Michael opened up about their relationship in an unfiltered interview with Stellar on Friday.

The pair admitted they weren’t each other’s type when they first met at the altar on season six Married At First Sight in 2019.

And Martha even accused her partner of being a ladies’ man in the past, saying: ‘I feel like you dated everything that had a heartbeat on Tinder.’

She then took another swipe, saying Michael had low standards when he was single.

‘When I met Michael, his thumbs were actually flat from using Tinder so much. His standards were so low,’ she said.

Martha and Michael are now social media influencers and film, edit and produce each other’s content.

They earn their income via sponsored posts, fitness videos, cooking tutorials and other branded content, which is mostly created from the comfort of their North Bondi apartment.

Last month, Martha told OK! magazine she and her boyfriend were considering walking down the aisle again – but this time in a legally binding ceremony.

When asked about becoming husband and wife, she said: ‘I think there may be a wedding on the cards but I guess that’s a question you’ll have to ask Michael!’
