Zac Efron is travelling around Australia for his new Netflix series, Down To Earth.

And this week, the Hollywood star thrilled locals when he visited a pie shop called Tully Pies in Tully, far north Queensland.

Sonia appeared on HIT Queensland’s Cliffo and Gabi this week and served the group.

But she said when they went into the store, which is close to Cairns, everyone was wearing masks amid the coronavirus pandemic.

‘That day was completely amazing because it was the last day of the covid-19 restrictions with the masks,’ Sonia said.

‘So all I remember was serving these guys and I thought, “wow, they’re quite handsome and dressed [up] for Tully, it’s a bit different.”

She added that she heard from other whispers in the town that the group enjoyed a trip to Tully Gorge [lookout], in the Tully Gorge National Park.

She said from memory, Zac ordered either a kangaroo or plain meat pie.
