Married At First Sight’s KC Osborne’s diet secrets

She was quickly dubbed the ‘hot bride’ by fans on this year’s season of Married At First Sight.

And speaking to Daily Mail Australia this week to promote her online dance workouts, Kasey ‘KC’ Osborne revealed her balanced approach to diet and exercise.

The 31-year-old said she eats healthily ’70 per cent’ of the time, allowing herself to indulge in junk food on Sundays.

‘My diet is mostly 70 per cent healthy eating and 30 per cent naughty food,’ KC told Daily Mail Australia.

‘I like to eat healthy, not just for my body but for my skin. As far as the naughty food goes, I try not to feel guilty as you still have to enjoy yourself.’

KC said she eats sushi ‘the most’ and has her cheat meals on Sundays.

‘I think it’s normal if you want to eat like that from time to time,’ she said. ‘However, I definitely encourage eating well, because it’s not just about what you look like. It’s about how you feel. Eating well always makes you feel better.’

KC maintains her washboard stomach with hot yoga and ab workouts in her dance classes, and joked that she’s yet to turn boyfriend Michael Goonan into a dancer.

‘The response to the classes has been absolutely amazing,’ she said. ‘The messages I have been getting from participants has been positive, and helped put a smile on people’s faces during this time.’

In 2010, KC moved to Los Angeles and signed a record deal with top 40 hitmaker The Dream, and spent almost a decade there as a pop star and professional dancer.

She used to work as a Pussycat Doll in the musical act’s burlesque show, and rubbed shoulders with Harry Styles and David Beckham during her stint in Hollywood.

KC told Daily Mail Australia that living abroad taught her how to deal with rejection.

‘Not everyone is going to like you, and you will get rejected. But as long as you keep working hard and follow your gut, what is meant for you will eventually fall into place.’

The brunette went on to describe founder of The Pussycat Dolls, Robin Antin, being like ‘family’.

‘We worked closely for over five years and formed a close friendship. As a businesswoman, I absolutely love everything she created. Above all, Robin was a mentor.’

KC explained how Robin was by her side during challenging times in Los Angeles.

‘Robin once told me, “KC, I don’t think you realise how talented you are, and that you are pretty much capable of achieving anything you want”. That will stick with me forever. To have someone like Robin Antin say that to me meant the world.’

KC also defended The Pussycat Dolls over the recent controversy surrounding their risqué costumes and performances.

‘I have always loved The Pussycat Dolls. Even though it is very sexy, it is done in a classy way,’ she said.

‘Every girl likes to feel sexy and confident, so instead of judging, we should embrace it. People like to express themselves in different ways.’
