The honeymoon is over! Married At First Sight millionaire groom James Susler appeared tense with ‘wife’ Joanne Todd during filming for the show back in October

The prestige car company owner, 44, kept his arms firmly crossed as he waited with crew to travel to a filming location with Jo.

A source claimed the TV couple refrained from talking to one another outside of their apartment complex, instead interacting with producers and camera operators.

‘They didn’t look happy and really kept their distance until the cameras started rolling,’ they claimed.

Barber Joanna, 39, who was wearing activewear, also stood a few metres away from James on the sidewalk.

James, who made his ‘first million’ in his late 20’s, appeared treated the pair to a cheeky McDonald’s drive-thru run after filming Monday’s dinner party.

However, their frosty display appears to hint something will happen between the pair in the coming episodes of the show.

Resident ‘love expert’ John Aiken revealed on Monday that the couples would be moving in together immediately, adding the ‘honeymoon is now well and truly over’.

‘You will need to get along with one another, learn about personal space and really get into the nitty gritty of your relationship,’ he told the couples at the dinner party.

The couples were photographed moving into SKYE Suites Sydney in late September, and remained there until the final vows were filmed in December.

The 2021 brides and grooms will have their trust tested during a new ‘confession week’ segment, when they are forced to ‘rank’ other people in the experiment.

According to TV Week Magazine, couples Coco Stedman and Sam Carraro and Jo and James both come unstuck due to the eyebrow-raising game.

Hairdresser Jo is believed to trigger James’ trust issues in the experiment by listing hunky groom Jake Edwards above him.

‘My type is very rugged, unshaven, messy hair, tattoos and piercings,’ she reportedly says in the upcoming episode.

James is said to become suspect of her interest in Jake amid the confession.
